Long weekend (part 2)

The story of my long weekend continues with yesterday’s visit to the Museum of Contemporary Art, where an exposition from various female artists from the twentieth century is shown. It is a great exposition with paintings, photographs, and statues. However, we went specially to see the paintings of Remedios Varo. Her surrealist scenarios are like being in a dream or a fantasy world. We weren’t allowed to take pictures, so I scanned some postcards I bought at the gift shop. Today, my wife and I woke up very late. Therefore, we took it easy and only went to have some coffee and cake to a coffee shop close to home. I actually had a tea and carrot cake, which is my favorite. At the end of the day we were really happy and well rested, but sad about having to go to work
tomorrow… snif, snif…
